if it makes any difference its on an MY95 WRX and im trying to sort the problem out for him from home, ive suggested checking the ECU fuse (30A) in the engine bay as there is no voltage at all from the fuel pump i thought perhaps the ecu wasnt putting out any voltage?

any thoughts

Fuel Pump Relay is above the main fuse box drivers side foot well quite hard to get to though as it is very high up and the access is restricted.

But the fuel pump circiut is fed via fuse SBF2 30amp
it’s under the bonnet main fuse box you will see two small green like relays
(looking from the top its about 2cm square with a green body and a clear plastic top it just looks like a small relay but it is actually a fuse)
out of the two of them it’s the one furthest back towards the bulkhead.
Mine didn't look blown untill i removed the plastic top.

mine had blown about three weeks ago.

Hope this helps.

Tony.
