MY93 Rear Light Removal
Hey guys'n gals,
I've just bought a set of aftermarket rear lights and im really struggling to get the originals off. There are 5 bolts in the rear of the light that sit in the boot which I have removed and 3 bolts in the bottom of the lights which I can't get too! I noticed a silver pannel below the rear lights itself and im not sure if it clips off or thats where the lights are bolted in? please help!!! :D P.s, I have already used the search feature. |
You may need a socket with an extension for the three lower bolts, 1/4" drive would be best.
Then it's just a case of pushing/pulling the light off the car, as it's stuck on with non-setting mastic. Replacement will need some more of the nsm, otherwise it'll leak like fek. DON'T stick it in with silicone, not unless you never plane on it coming out again, not for repairs or owt:( The panel below it is screwed to the light, and can be removed and fitted to the new lights once the old ones are off.
