02 Bug Eye WRX and STI headlamp design difference?

I havent been able to compare the head lights between a MY 02 Bug Eye WRX and STI up close. But from pictures I have seen, the head lamps look different. I prefer the STI ones, they look darker (not bright silver) and have individual lights under the clear plastic cover. Its hard to describe. Anyone know what I'm on about. I DONT mean the Morrette ones that have seperate lights and black plastic.

Ultimately, if they are different, can the STI ones be bought from Subaru and fitted onto a WRX?

HI,

yep i know what your on about, me and scoobsteve have both purchased Sti lights. You have to get a homemade jumper loom made up, to be able to run the conversion, thus means instead of hardwiring the lights, you can easily replace them if returning back to standard.

Try giving Bucks Subaru a phone 01494564555, really helpful and always coming by quality parts.

pm me your email address and i will send you a wiring diagram and picture of the jumper loom.

hope this helps

Yep I agree too. Changed my WRX for an STi, much easier than changing the lights...... Seriously, if you can make the change then I think it will look loads better.

Apart from looking better, the STI lights are HID units, far superior

JDM STi lights are HID but UK one's are not. They still have the "projector" lens for dip beam but use a conventional H1 blub.
