just fitted my redstuff pads and ebc discs, what a job, both the caliper sliders were siezed on both sides, had to strip the whole calipers down and free them all off,no wonder my brakes were crap.stops on a sixpence now though 70% improvent, look better too..........

Lookin good. I always put a bit of copper slip grease on the sliders and any other bits that contact with each other when doing brakes. Makes for a better job I find. Easier to pull apart next time too....;)

The practice of using copper grease is a very good and worth while one.I alway use a smear of copper grease on every bolt i remove and refit.

I recently replaced my front discs and pads but had a devil of a job getting the pins out to release the pads as they were so badly corroded.

I decided to have new pins made out of stainless steel rather than use the crap OEM ones.

Andy.
