Brake hose clips (that attach hose to damper) Wanted!!
I could do with a handful (6 or 8 or so) of those clips that secure the brake hose to the bracket on the side of the dampers, sort of like a squared C shaped clip. They also fit on where the brake hoses join the brake lines too.
Hope someone knows the bits I mean and either has some spare or knows where I can get some?!! Cheers! Jim |
Probably a dealer part.
I know the ones you mean, pig to get out. The shape means they are under pressure all the time, so may be special??? |
Yeah, there is a bracket on each damper that the hose goes through and is locked in place as the clip goes through a slot in the metal part half way along the hose.
Most people cut through the bracket to make it easier to remove the hoses. I'm missing a bunch of the clips after swapping bits & pieces over in the last few months so I need to get more before I can get the mods Okd for telling the insurance company. |
You need a lost property box in the corner of the garage mate ;)
