Why are there two throttle quadrants?

As the title says - why are there two side-by-side throttle quadrants on the Scoob?

There is a spindle sticking out of the side of the throttle body, which opens and closes the throttle plate. On the end of it are two throttle quadrants, either of which can have the end of the throttle cable attached to them and they each act independently on the spindle. Why have both?

The other one is for cruise control.

Cruise control..? On a scoob..?

iirc, its more to do with the ecu trottle adjustment (ie idle speed when cold/aircon)..?

I stand to be corrected mind..;)

no it's definatly for cruise idle speed can be set through the select moniter

The ECU controls idle revs with the idle air control valve - the throttle itself is not involved. Cruise control makes more sense, although I've never seen a Scoob with it.
