Have all but 7 of the albums / centenary discs and a pre production album cover. So guess you could call me a fan although I hate the word.

Seen em live twice and have a few CDs, not sure if I'd go and see them again now though - not really into that sort of music as much these days.

Ebay is a good guide but there is quite a bit of merchandise out there and the prices vary. Anything thats signed goes quite well.
Vinyl loosing its value so a CD should be quite desirable. If you want top whack for it sell it when they next tour AllanB |
I picked up the 12" vinyl of GnR Appetite for Destruction with the banned cover for £16. Saw it 2 days later on ebay for £4..

Don't listen to them much these days, but I remember buying their original release, called the Soundhouse Tapes, in 1979. I played Prowler over and over again, as me and my mates were going to see them at Stroud Marshall Rooms the next day!
The singer was Paul Di'anno in those days, completely different style to Bruce Dickinson, who I remember seeing when he was in Samson. Ah, those were the days; whatever happened to bands like Angel Witch, Vardis, Praying Mantis, Dark Star, Ethel the Frog, Toad the Wet Sprocket et al? :D |
Theyre all pretty rare so putting a price on them would be hard I would imagine.

Having spent 10 weeks collecting the "First Yen Years" on vinyl, then sending off for the box, I was somewhat irked when it was stolen from my student accommodation
Never got round to replacing it, either. |

Seen them numerous times in the late '80s early 90's but gave up buying the albums after No Prayer for the Dying.

Don't listen to them much these days as I prefer my metal much heavier TBH but they still sound pretty good when I see them on Scuzz or Kerrang.
|
I fell asleep at Donnington when they headlined Monsters of Rock in 1992!!!
the other half loves them although I prefer Faster Pussycat, LA Guns etc |
i was there but i slept through Megadeath!!
got bad concussion too... |
First saw Maiden at Reading in 1982. Devoted fan for years, but the older I get the less I can stand to listen to them.
