P1 Suspension

Hope you can help........

I have the chance to get some P1 suspension...Will these fit on to my 99 uk turbo ok and how much do these parts go for second hand. Or is it better to save some cash and go for different springs and keep the standard shocks ?????????

Thanks for the help

P1 Suspension

P1 Suspension is probably the best fast road set up you can get for the Classic. It'll bolt right on no probs, but you'll have to get it alligned(?) by someone who knows what they're doing, with the pukka P1 settings to make thw most of it.

Here's a thread I started when I'd just bought my first Impreza and was quite excited :). You may find it usefull.

I ended up PXing the UK car for the RA in the link below. Paid an extra £2k for about £20k worth of mods.

I'd speak with Powerstation about this; but generally the front ARBs are considered overkill for fast road driving and some have found that it's encouraged understeer even on the lowest setting. Graham (911) uses one on his hill climber and found it helps.

Why no trackdays?

Personally, I wouldn't look any further then about a grand for ASTs via Powerstation. You could spend a few hundred quid on Eibachs which will see already tired dampers wear more rapidly. Then you'd have to pay a few hundred quid more for new shocks and a repeat labour bill and you still won't have any adjustability.

Glad to help; I've found that if your questions are sensible and you're open to advice you'll attract the right people to the thread. Pass it on :)
