Air rifles HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Have it narrowed down to these:
1.BSA Hornet
2.Air Arms TX200HC
3.Weihrauch HW97K
4>Weihrauch HW77K
Have heard hornets regulator can give probs, any problems with the rest.Use will be vermin/field targets.
No other recommendations please!!!!

Had an HW95K and it was awesome, would get another one.

Having owned all of the above i would get the tx200hc in .177. The hw77 is an excellent rifle and i owned one for many years but when i got the tx200 it was for me an updated version of the hw77 by air arms and a better rifle. Also buying air arms your buying British keeping uk workers employed. Get a good set of one piece mounts and a good scope and your off my fave scope was the 3-9x40 variety.

Forget that lot. Get yourself a HW90/HW90K. Weihrauch quality, walther barrel???, a renound trigger unit, Theoben internals. Look for the valve at the back of the cylinder to which you attach the foot pump.

Not that I condone upping the power of a 12ftlbs .22 air rifle, with an average flat trajectory of about 18 ( :( ) metres of course ;)

Excellent bit of kit, I wish I'd never sold mine.

whats it for?

I still have my Theoben countryman carbine. Great rifle but more £'s than a tx200hc. Out of the list he asked about the tx200hc is the one to go for. If moneys no issue then pre-charged is the way forward.

Airarms for me. Better accuracy throughout the cannister pressure range.

Will you use it at standard power or up it and add it to your fire arms certificate?

Cheers

As I have the pleasure of living in Northern Ireland all firearms must be on FAC.Standard of course!!!

If was 12ft/lbs Id say the Tx200 as all the top shot springers shooters seem to use them. As for FAC dont know.

Prefer PCP's myself. Just been up at lincoln all weekend shooting UKAHFT with my Daystate Mk3 (which does still work after getting soaked and covered in mud :))

I've got an HW97K and for what it is it is a nice gun, but it never comes out of the cabinet now I have a BSA Superten carbine in cammo :)

I'd go for the TX200, but would prefer the S410, great looking rifle, cracking accuracy etc.
I currently have a Falcon FN12 with the skeleton stock etc, best rifle I have ever owned (apart from my Sniper Rifle, but I can't hunt rabbits with it!!!)
