Rolling Road opinions near london

I want to organise a RR day for me an a few mates. Which RR's are recommended near London? I suggested Power Engineering, but one of my mates cringed!

I want one that has well respected results.

Cheers

Hi mate, I don't know why your mate cringed :wonder: as PE are well respected, if you look back through the southern meets section you will find loads of RR days have been there and all very good days :thumb: These have been run by Sussex,Surrey,Kent,Hampshire ect ect.
Cheers

PE are very good....prodrive used to use thier rollers for their cars to get their benchmark figures... a lot of people voice their problems about rr's but PE have got tonnes of experience and some experienced operators.

Cheers for the replies. I recon we might try the Surrey Rolling Road. They've got a temperature controlled room to help provide consistant results between days.

Anyone else on here used them?

I spoke with the lads again today and they won't change their opinions of PE. One of them has a mate of a mate who had a bad experience there...

It will have to be somewhere else for us.

Each to their own, but I have been to a number of rolling roads, and there are only two I would go back to!!

One of them is Power Engineering, the other is Minispeed but they only have 2WD rollers.

again personal opinion is fine ! BUT if its good enough for PRODRIVE then its good enough for me ! ;)
