ARB Advice please
Looking to upgrade the arb on my P1 but not sure which ones to go for.
I already have the ALK and the alloy rear D.L., Whiteline of course. Should I go for 22mm fixed up front and 24mm adj at the rear, or keep oe item at front and 22mm adj at rear or fixed 22mm front and rear. :wonder: Too many choices, please help. If it helps I do a lot of trackdays with the car as well as fast road driving. |
Use the 22mm (adjustable) front bar to control and 22mm adjustable at the back to trim. If you like a lively back end :-) use a 24mm rear bar. If you run sticky tyres use a 24mm (adjustable) front bar and 24mm adjustable rear bar.

Just use normal road tyres and would like a neutral handling car, thanks.

22mm front and rear it is then. Adjustable if you want to fine tune it to your own taste.

That setup sound identical to the one I've got on my TypeR.
I've found the 22mm ARBs a major improvement over the stock ones. I would suggest that you do go for the adjustables (to make sure you set it up how you like it), start @ hard front/midle back and see how you get on (it only takes a couple of minutes to change settings ...) This should give you a neutral hanling car, that leans a lot let than stock and feels a lot "sharper". And when you go out on track you can set it soft @ front/hard @ back and enjoy countless tail-happy moments :norty: |
Cheers. Is the group buy still on.

Speak to Dave Featherstone 01978 663042 at Demon Tweeks because he is still running the Whiteline group buy for Scoobynet arranged by Peanuts, 15% discount. I ordered Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear rollbar, alloy rollbar links, heavy duty rollbar mounting brackets and heavy duty steering rack mounts, all in stock and arrived the next day :D
