You should be able to get your one re-built. Worst case it may need a new core, but cheaper than buying a new turbo.

idont think its possible to be rebuilt as the oil feed on top of the turbo sprung a leak could not be fixed without being stripped down so it was welded since then been looking for a new one otherwise would of had it rebuilt unless im wrong and it still can be rebuilt

From what i gather from Mark, all you do is buy another casing and build the old parts up around it. Overall, it'll be cheaper, but Mark i'm sure will fill you in. ;)

is mark in the no about these things then ie where to source parts from etc

Indeed he is. He's the main man at Lateral Performance. Very knowledgable when it comes to turbo's.

this is what we like to hear as its a cracking turbo and would be a shame to have to go in a different direction when im happy with the garrett set up
