Best Recirc. Dump Valve? escaping the VTA

At the moment i have a RFL VTA dump valve fitted to my 2001 classic, it was on the car when i bought it but with no sign of the original item.

At first i liked the whooosh sound but this dump valve is called a RFL (Really Freaking Loud) and after a while it has begun to annoy me, mainly because i feel a twit driving through a built up area with a really loud whooosh sound, this generally makes me drive slower, which is a lose lose situation.

The problem is this, as i do not have the original recirculating dump valve i cant simply swop it, as i have got to buy a new one is it worth getting an upgraded version such as the forge recir. or should i spend as much and get a standard one from somewhere??

Is it worth buying an upgrade?? answers please, VTA dump valve rebeller

I was also wondering whether it is worth upgrading the standard recirc one with a forge recirc or similar? Wondering if affects either performance or sound?

Im running a Forge re-circ on my bug sti. No diffrence over standard. Only reason its on over the standard one was it was free with a fmic i got.

Not a fan of VTA tbh.
