Will 17s fit on my Nova?

Gary C 02 May 2006 12:17 PM

I take it your talking about a vent to air dump valve (as you already have a dump valve)

Yes if you want that sound (it makes NO performance improvement on its own)

No if you want to guarrentee that the car runs correctly (Can cause the car to overfuel occasionally)

gotmashed 02 May 2006 12:18 PM

yay

Elmer Fudpucker 02 May 2006 12:20 PM

Its a marmite situation Matt, i like mine, cos im a chav at heart, and love it when all the little chavas stare when I change gear! Some people prefer not to, sup to ya'sen

Matt_taylor 02 May 2006 03:11 PM

Does it annoy u going off all the time when u just let off the gas??

i rarely take mine above 5k (i know wierd for a 21 yr old lol!) so might just leave the standard one on for a bit then try out one

stew911 02 May 2006 03:14 PM

my bf has got them on his and they sound great, and after he has got his new exhaust fitted later i dread to think how it will sound.

btw, i say yay

Daniel-S 02 May 2006 03:17 PM

At what point does the standard re-circ become restrictive?:wonder:

rossi_classicwrx 02 May 2006 03:17 PM

if you want it which you obviously do or you wouldn't open yourself up to this thread!! then you have to put one on!! i've got a BOV on mine..

New_scooby_04 02 May 2006 03:18 PM

No. You'll tire of the racket eventually and it may have a detrimental effect on the way your car drives. The std recirculating one is perfectly good.

Plus, eveyone will think: "What an attention seeking plonker" ;) :D

LegacySTi 02 May 2006 03:25 PM

yay. Don't mind the other muppets. Do wat ye wanna do!!

jd5217 02 May 2006 04:42 PM

I have one fitted to mine, but the pops and bangs from the exhaust also attracts attention.

If you are an attention whore then yes, otherwise it has no benefit whatsoever!

IMO when i hear a scooby i want the burble not a wooshing noise like some chav c*nt in a rs turbo!

DONT DO IT!!!!!!

KENSHIRO 02 May 2006 06:03 PM
