Permanent water mark & stone chip on roof

Hi all

Two issues:-

Firstly I have a permanent water mark on my boot which I cant remove. Does anyone know of any products which will get rid of it? picture attached

Next prob, driving to work the other day a stone hit the roof of the car.
It came flying towards the passenger side of the car but just missed the window and bounced off the roof, god knows where it came from but it looked huge and made such an awful sound when it hit. Damage isn't too bad, one tiny scratch and another about 1cm long, but the latter is really deep which is the cause of my concern. Should I apply anything to protect it from the elements or will it be ok?

The water mark will need to be machine polished in order to remove it, thay are virtually impossible to shift by hand, and tough even with the machine. If you can live with the scratch just stuff it full of whatever last step product you use (wax or sealant) and it will be fine (however, if you neglect regular refilling it will rust eventually if it's right through to metal). However, touch up work isn't as expensive as you might think, so ity might be worth getting a quote of two. :)

A portercable and some menzerna should see you ok....I was away for a a month and my finace left a bird dropping on her bonnet and that has been a nightmare. I put a propper mop on it with some harsh abrasive and it still wont come off.
