drink drive limit?

someone at work told me today this has been lowered, to what equates to half a pint..is this true?

ALi-B 25 April 2006 07:03 PM

Shirley it would be in the government's/police's/public's best interest if they actually told us that it had been lowered to this level by means of mass media notification (news,TV etc). So I guess not. But there have been reports that they do want it lowered.

It's not true (yet:Whatever_ )

If they raise the level, there will be less drink driving accidents. 8 Pints should do it :thumb:

If they lower it, it will be a good thing, in all conscience no one could complain about that.

They shoul bring it in line with most of the rest of Europe, 50mg/100ml of blood. Current limit is 80mg/100ml.

Sweden has a limit of 20mg/100ml IIRC.
