Can anyone recommend some insurance companies for a 20yo male on a 2001 Sport?

Greenlight are supposed to be e-mailing me, A-Plan ringing me, neither did and by the time I gave up and rang they were shut. Gary @ Keith Michaels couldn't do better than £4k+. Insurance Factory were £3k+. AA £3.5k. Norwich Union quoted £1600 the other day online, but now their website doesn't work and they won't quote on the phone :wonder:

Any other suggestions to try in the morning?

I switched all mine over to A-Plan last June. Before that my son was with Egg (Classic).

We (Greenlight) have emailed you to say unfortunately we cannot quote. I am sorry we could not help.

Unfortunately you will need to keep trying as many insurers as you can, you never know when that great price will come. Try to save yourself some time by using some of the systems online that quote using multiple companies and try a few brokers too.

RAC have just given a far more sensible quote :D
