Knock Knock who's there????
 

NOT ME!! as sounds like big ends gone:cry: Totally gutted had car off road to fit a new inlet pipe and maf after which car would not start turned out to be a dodgy code key :brickwall So after being off road for a few days felt great to be back on the road and car was driving very well till i started to here a ticking noise around 2500rpm, carefully drove it to a safe place to stop by which time it was knocking hard so got a lift home by the RAC. Strange thing is it now on my drive and it still starts and ticks over even though its knocking loud and hard??? Also after thinking although car was not used for a few days it was warmed up and was not driven hard BUT i did put BP ultimate in it not the usual optimax as my local shell has just closed down!! wonder if its relavent or just bad timing, am pondering now what to do with it???:( :(
