Please give advice on cat
Currently, my car is stock in terms of exhaust and engine. I am going to retain the cat on the UP pipe for the environment.
I am thinking about chopping off the last cat converter on the mid pipe of my stock catback and have a new pipe welded in place. Frankly, apart from losing the expensive stock cat, I cant think of any downsides in doing so. What do you think? (please help me by filling in the blanks) :) Thank you very much for your kind contribution. Pros 1. smoother flow = slight increase in power 2. shouldn't cause any CEL issues 3. unaffected Low end torque 4. 5. Cons 1. a tiny bit louder than stock 2. 3. 4. 5. |
