Music software............

Is there any free bits of software out there for editing songs. Nothing flash - i for instance, just want to chop the first 20 seconds out of a song. :)

there is a free download program called audacity. you can import mp3s into it then cut/erase any bits you want.

If you have nero, it came with a program called NEROWAVEEDITOR that does the job just fine. :)

Looks like the sound recorder you have with Windows can do this. Have a look under the following:

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment
