wheel alignment and geometry

hi guys went to have the car set up today in the merc garage bridgend and they couldnt get the car on the ramp:( , then i was told to go to celtic tyres as the ramp was not so high to get it on and they tried and still no luck, then they told me another place to go and it looked abit shifty:Suspiciou so i never had it done and wasted about 20 of my finest pounds on optimax, does anyone know where i can have the set up done were there is a very low ramp :wonder:

You need to get yourself up to Powerstation for that job ;)
They set it up for "fast tarmac" as far as I remember and by god it makes a difference in the handling.... not only that the tyres wear nice and even as well.

Agree with Si on this. Powerstation is the place to go. :thumb:

Certainly is but only take the cash for the job otherwise you'll want to buy the candyshop.

No prices on the Web site now, but if my old grey matter remembers that far back, I think it's about £75 inc the dreaded vat.

Good value as mine was up and down on the ramps for about 1 and a half hours getting it spot on.

And as has been said before "it transforms the car"

definitely powerstation, get the bump steer mod done at the same time if its a classic you've got, transforms the car and stops that awful understeer that comes on them as standard.

thanks for the info fellas powerstation it is:thumb: just hope the car will get on the ramps.

Got any sheets of ply ?
A couple of short planks cut out will help get the car on the first step on ;)
I use a few off cuts under the wheels to get my trolley jack under the car :D
