Quick Brake Question
 

Hi Guys,

Know this is in the wrong section but got no responses in Wheels Tyres and Brakes....

Anyway...

Looking at picking up some new discs n pads for the front of my MY01 Bugeye WRX..

I assume these are the 294mm discs as its the 4 pot calipers....

Been looking about and seem some "Evolution" drilled n grooved discs on E-Bay wi Mintex pads (didn't give the model i.e. 1144) for a good price... any suggestions...

I want a decent "budget" setup as i don't drive that hard and won't be going on track, as long as its slightly better than OE and won't warp i'll be happy!

Anyone used these "evolution" discs?

IMO, stick with the original discs and get some Pagid RS42 Blue pads. Standard dics will be fine unless you are after the "LOOK". I have standard discs with the above pads on MY00 classic and the stopping power is very good. Maybe worth upgrading your brake hoses too.
