Bought Topspin 2, can't play it!!!! (360)
 

Bought this the other day as i've been looking forward to getting it and when i get it home it say's that it runs on 60hz. I thought thats not a problem, my old tv from 6 years ago was 100hz so my new HD pioneer plasma will have no troubles.

Stick the game in and it comes up on the dashboard " This game does not support PAL-50. Please change you settings to Pal-60. Go to console settings etc etc"

Well thats just bloody it :mad: I can't change the Pal settings as no options come up, the only thing i can change is the resolution. Am i being thick or will i never get to play this game??? If xbox are going to fcuk around with the games like this there will be even less choice :rolleyes:

My guess is it's you but I'm not sure.

Flick the HD switch back to normal TV then boot the machine. Enter options and change to 60 MHz. Flick the switch back to HD, goto settings and change to 720p or whichever you are using. Start game.

Don't ask why but if you have not done this the machine thinks you are in 50 HZ although you are not !!!!!!

I had the same problem with feeding frenzy Arcade game. Fixed as above.

bit of a crazy setting in the console if you ask me.

Now that you have it working, is it any good?

Yeah its pretty good, i quite like the ole tennis games so i would like it. There's a good range of shots and its not too easy to pul them all off. The career mode goes on a bit with all the training but i suppose it gives you something to do!

Same problem happened with DOA4, unless you change the setting to 60hz from 50hz the controller didn't work:wonder:
