Ben and Jerrys

Favourite flavour ?

I now feel sick after a moderate bowl of this, dont buy it very often but it was on offer in Blockbusters.

New Apple Pie one is quite nice.

CAT2 05 April 2006 09:18 PM

Cherry Garcia.

Tiggs 05 April 2006 09:21 PM

fish food

Iwan 05 April 2006 09:51 PM

The one with the chocolate brownies in it. :)

Or cherry garcia, either the ice cream or frozen yoghurt varients.

http://www.benjerry.com/assets/image...7684010098.gifI love the marshmallow stuff with the chocolate.. but have to pick all the ickle fishies out...:( :lol1:

But it's really a toss up between that and 'Chunky Monkey'..:luvlove:

Ok, then, which premium ice cream, including Haagen Daz !

The Apple Pie one is really good, big chunks of Apples and pie crust.

Other than that, Cherry Garcia, named after the lead singer (Jerry Garcia) from the band the 'Gratefull Dead'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Garcia

Sorry if you already know about that, just thought it worth a mention as not everyone on Scoobynet seems to be too well up on 1960's and 70's Psychedelia !

They should do some more based on dead rock stars, their names, not what they tasted like.

hades 05 April 2006 10:46 PM

Chocolate chip cookie dough, or caramel chew chew would do me nicely

Whilst Ben and Jerrys is generally preferable to Haagen Dazs IMHO, H-D's strawberry cheesecake is better than the B&J's equivalent . . .

J4CKO 05 April 2006 10:47 PM

I suppose Fish Food could be considered a tribute to Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys or perhaps Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones ?

Oatmeal Cookie Crunch

Brit_in_Japan 06 April 2006 02:13 AM

The flavours I've liked most have been retired :(

The Full Vermonty was great, as was Double Chocolate Fudge Swirl

mad_dr 06 April 2006 08:12 AM

The Limited Batch flavour of Minter Wonderland was superb! Mind you - I was pleased to see it's now been replaced with another Limited Batch called Chocolate Therapy! Mmmm! Mind you - Fossil Fuel is very nice too!

Reffro 06 April 2006 09:53 AM

I like Full Vermonty, but my absolute fave is Chunky Monkey.

A crazy concoction of chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream mixed with fudge brownies and gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

And with a name like Spoon !

New_scooby_04 06 April 2006 02:09 PM

For me -and apologies for bringing the tone down- asking what my preferred flavour of Ben and Jerry's is, is a bit like asking me which Anne Summer's model I'd like to *ahem* Well, you get the idea! ;)

It's all good! :D

CrisPDuk 06 April 2006 02:46 PM

Sorrry but you're all wrong:nono:

Anyone from Macclesfield will tell you that Granelli's, a proper Italian style ice cream, made by a proper umpteenth generation Italian family firm, kicks all of that imported crap right past touch and into the crowd:thumb:
