Dyno Results?

I have just had fitted an H&S Subaru Impreza New Age (mines a MY03) back box and cat pipe (bought of the group buy from here).

So I am now thinking of having the remap done at Powerstation.

Have been searching for dynos for before and after and can’t find anything for my motor.
So was wondering if any of you have had a similar job done and what the results were.

i.e. BHP and Lb Ft with just the Exhaust Mod and after the Remap

I am trying to work out if it is worth the 600 quid for the additional power.

If it is a decat pipe / backbox with a remap and throwing in a K&N panel filter for good measure, you could look at anywhere around 310-320bhp I would of thought...... but you may need an uprated fuel pump as well as far as I know.

This is assuming you are coming from a standard newage STi.

Regards,
Shaun.

Hi Mulf,

I had a GREEN panel filter, straight through centre pipe and Magnex backbox fitted to my MY01 WRX (plus a Walbro 255 fuel pump as a precaution).

I then had an ecutek remap at Powerstation and I ended up with some nice figures: 265bhp and 348Nm (256 lb/ft) torque.

It is worth every penny, the car is soooo much more drivable and the torque gains are tremendous. You should get slighty better results because I haven't removed any cats yet. I've bought decat up and down pipes and intend to go back for a map tweak soon, should be looking at ~290bhp and 290 lb/ft torque. :D

Go for it, the guys at Powerstation are really friendly and they have a very professional setup. :thumb:

Well I got my exhaust on the H&S GB as well and thanks to Stix I am off to PS on the 22nd to let them work their magic ....... I can't wait, if it is as good as everyone says then it should be like driving off in a totally different car.
