TYNE TEES SCOOBIES KARTING saturday 27th may

Right....

Im gauging interest in an Iron man event at the Teeside Karting Center.

There is space for 24 drivers in the twin honda engined Karts.

http://www.teessidekarting.co.uk/ktm...95417937710015

The event consists of a briefing 30 mins before engines are started, then its in to a qualifying session. Line up in your grid slot then the fun begins for the main event, the racing.... Retire to the bar on site for drinks and the presentation trophys

http://www.teessidekarting.co.uk/kar...side.php?id=11

I have orginised a few of these events now and they have all gone down a success. I want to idealy orginise this for a weekend in mid may, give everyone a chance to make arrangements.

There are closer venues but none anywhere nnear as good as the teeside facilities.

If we could fill a minimum of 14 places, the event is on. A deposit of £10 is required to secure your place. Any placesd not filled will be offered up to friends and family if TTS members.....

So how about it......

interested????

cheers

Been on a few occasions

I take it from your post that you have in fact not been to the teeside track then, Karts are of similar quality, but IMO, not as good, and as for the track, no where near as technical or rewarding, again, IMO.

There is a reason why i travel from consett down to teeside on quite a few occasions.

But, if thats the general feeling, then your more than welcome to sort it all out mate, and this aint a dummy spitting session  Its due to the fact i have been able to get some good discounts at teeside

Cheers

Agreed with John.

The TTS has had several karting sessions at Warden Law and IMHO it cannot compete with the Teesside track.

Martin

jo0o0olie 19 April 2006 09:47 PM

i have actually done both on several occasions, and was just voicing an opinion, i own n race a kart as a hobbie at both circuits and find warden law a must more technically challenging track, although the prokarts are older at teeside they are maybe slightly faster....

EVOLUTION 20 April 2006 05:51 PM

then your a Pro, and you will also know that we all want speed lol
