Separating turbine housing...??!!

Without resorting to a hammer;), any tips on separating a 'tight' exhaust housing on a VF35...??!!

Tried running a razor blade around and have given it some freeway over night, but any tips are welcome..;)

WD40, "light" hammer hits and prise open with a thin blade screwdriver.
If really bad then bolt on an up-pipe and put in vice then try and wiggle it a lot/ rotate it.

If your gonna hit anything with a hammer i suggest you use a plastic hammer or a peice of wood between the metal hammer and what your hitting.

Cheers guy's but I'm a bit reluctant to use a hammer (have tried a few light taps around the seal). Might try using my old up-pipe as leverage but I'm going to see if I can fabricate some sort of splitter (sort of reverse puller..?) as there are a few places where I might just be able to 'break' the seal.

Any other suggestions..? (what do the pro's use..?).

J;)
