Would be interested in just the discs as I have the kit already.

Would be interested in a caliper upgrade as well

I dont need the full kit either, but I am in quite desparate need of replacement discs for my 335 conversion.

borat52 04 April 2006 10:50 AM

what prices are we looking at?

borat52 04 April 2006 11:56 AM

Just a couple of questions, will 335mm discs fit with 17" alloys as fiited to a bug eye? Also is the 335mm upgrade with existing subaru 4 pots better than a godspeed 4 pot caliper + large disc upgrade?

I had the gspd with my standards bugeye alloys, they fit no probs, you fit a spacer between the calipers and opens them out about 8 mm aprox.
IF they're any better than the godspd calipers, don't know.

I contacted Ian from Godspeed and this is what he responded:

"I can offer you the kits for £575 including UK delivery , the kit will come with either grooved , drilled or grooved and drilled discs , if the customer is going to take part in track days stay away from drilled discs as they can crack around the holes , fitting kit and mounting brackets , and a choice of either redstuff ceramic , Mintex M1144's or Ferodo Ds2500 pads , and instructions

This price is based on at least 5 people taking part. "

So we need 4 more people.

Sadly not. You would have to set a new group buy for discs only.

I read that you have to 'split' the calipers in order to fit these - is this a very tough job? Can these be fitted on the drive at home with a decent set of tools?

bruce 05 April 2006 11:39 AM

Ok Thanks for trying Mev, Borat diy fitting is quite easy with decent tools.

I'm definately out of this GB now guys. Looking to 6 pots if I'm going to spend a shed load on the brakes again.
