Running problems & Ecu's
 

Hi this is Koopz i have 2 questions. I have got L reg WRX late 93. At about 2000 2500rpm there is a slight stuttering nothing major but its there & it doesnt happen all the time. Ive cleaned the hot wire in the air box & change the air filter, i run it on optimax & super-unleaded any suggestion's?
2: I want to get better MPG & apart from driving at 50mph & not going on boost how can i do this? Is a programmable ECU the way to go & if so witch one I've been looking at a Teg sport, if anybody has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

MPG figures are really ****e for normally aspirated 'Sport' models too, and they have higher compression engines. There isnt much you can do to improve economy other than keep off boost, whichs easier with a big TD05 turbo than on later cars.....
