Ok I eventually got it all running, but after about 15 minutes of playing I find I feel nauseous, just like feeling motion sick.
Anyone else have this problem or is just me. Any solutions to it? Dave |
Some of the troubles with this are:
When you move about does it "bob" ......if so .....that can be a major cause of motion sickness......and if poss......turn the "bobbing off". It has worked for alot of peeps. And also try turning the brightness up or down on your monitor...which ever suits you best....this has worked for some people. Hope this helps a bit. |
Dave,
Is this side effect typical of when playing all games or just Half Life? If all, then I would seriously seek doctors advice. Cem |
Something to do with the game engine. A mate at work can play some FPS games and not others, even with the head bob switched off. P. |
I have more trouble "watching" friends play - I guess when you're in control, at least your brain knows what to expect from a control input.
Remember Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo - Literally 1 minute on that, and I was phoning Ralf down the Big White Telephone. :( |
I've got the exact same problem, can't play Half Life (or CS for that sake either), but UT has never caused me any grief.
 |
Nope only half life, no probs with any other games...

Just got done playing HL Blue Shift. It rocks!Way too short though. That's the only flaw.
No problems playing.I do get a little woozy in the outworld though, when I look down.I'm scared to death of heights.:) |
