URGENT HELP NEEDED

Just taken my front drivers side tyre off to clean and have just discovered some splits on the inside tyre wall...checked the other tyres and they are the same..the tyres are Avon ZZ1 225/40/18...any ideas:wonder:

Due to get a new set of wheels and tryes but need them urgently now

cheers

Split as in a gap ?

If so I would want to drive too far/fast with it.

If its just the odd crack, I wouldn't worry about it too much (speaking from personal experience but my word ain't gospel).

get some piccys on so we can asses the damage,

depending on how old, you may have a claim against the manufacturer

PMSL.... :lol1:

I see your problem - you're riding around on big balls of grey cotton wool. :D

try that macro setting thingy majig

that might work a little better

Your car lowered much? IIRC that'll cause adverse camber which in turn will speed up the ruination of your tyres.

Change your tyres they are scrap.

Unless you want to be at gates soon.

Sorry to say, but buying Avon ZZ1's was a really big mistake. They are widely acknowledged to be utter utter sh!te on a Scoob. Fortunately you are now gonna have to scrap them and buy something better like Good year F1's or Toyo Proxes, both have a lot of advocates.
Even my wife had several "moments" when we had foolishly put ZZ1's on the Scoob and she doesn't exactly rag it. It was like driving on ice for 12k miles....

Was the car in storage at any point in time? And I would rather have 16" wheels, and maybe 17" but not 18" on my scooby. I run on Toyo Proxes, and cannot complain.

They were on the car when i brought it....back tyres still have loads of tread on them....but was looking to get a new set of Rota's with Toyo's but now need them more urgently now!!!!!!!!!
