Just a little poll to see What in your opinion is the quickest scoobies.as above, pre 1998 or 1999+
Standard

Early type RA's, light weight and very short gearing. Sub twelve second quarter mile possible with few mods as demonstrated by Japanese Performance car.

Wasnt the quickest 1/4 mile done in a Blob eye :) Just under 9.9 from memory

for a start new age was MY 2001 on

there are classics that are quicker than new ages eg. RA/type R/P1 V WRX blob/bug

then there are new age cars quicker than classics eg. specC/STI blob/bug V UK2000 etc

The quickest quarter in a Scoob is in a Classic and is around 8.7s now.

The quickest quarter in a Scoob in the UK is a Classic and is 9.81s the last count.

The quickest top speed is also a Classic :D

I'm sure i've seen a red Austrailian wagon run in the 8's not sure if it was faster than 8.7, must have a look and get back to you :D

Pointless comparing modified cars, standard cars should be compared.

I'll take a 95 Group A car with the larger restrictor......
