Is there a supra forum for uk owners?

How much would a 23 year old with 6 years no claims bonus have to pay to insure a 94 TT 6 speed manual?
Who are the best insurers?
Cheers
Martin :)

go to www.mkivsupra.net/bbs

Insurance on imports costs about £200 extra over a UK spec car. If you go to www.mkivsupra.net and check the imports section then theres a number of insurance companies in there who can give you a good quote. I used Lifesure as they were easily the cheapest of the lot but also understood what a dump valve is, where somebody like Tescos didnt even have it listed as a modification.

hope that helps

I recently got quoted £957 full-comp on a UK 95 TT 6-sp. That's with 3yr NCB, 3 points (SP60) and aged 22.

Would have been £821 if I'd not got the points.

Try www.elephant.co.uk

Also - add your Mum or someone similar as a named driver - I did it and it knocked £200 off the premium

hi, my mate has a Supra TT import insured via Tesco's for around £800 (fully comp with breakdown cover etc), he is 23 with 5 years no claims. He was told it would be the same price for a uk car, and yes they definately know it is an import as they had to provide chassis number only cover for him initially while he registered it.

I would love one I thought I stood half a chance of keeping it on the road, he has scary moments in his every slightly wet day!
