Scooby Shootout 21st May 2006
 

Coming up soon. Held at Elvington. Similar format to Ten of the Best. 1/4 mile, top speed and handling course. should be good craic. Entry fee is £55. Only 100 cars will be allowed and no entries on the day. i'm booked to go. Anyone else planning on entering or even going. would be nice to see a NI contingent.

are you borrowing a fast car for the event mate? :D seriously, do you plan to have your mods done before then? i see from the entry list that waz has put his name down. should be a good event if they get the numbers.

what about you and 200+. any of you country boys bringing your tractors?

its not only for fast cars, i might have them done, but probably not. Sure, its a bit of fun, would be good to see what the car will do before anything gets done to it, then after, but would be even nicer with the bits done. Just have to wait and see. Would rather take part than go over and say i wish i had of entered!

quick note, we only have handling and 1/4m at the event, but we are running various classes on the 1/4s with trophies and prizes, so everyone will have th echance to win a class award at least! full info on the main thread, looking forward to seeing the irish contingent over again :-)

I'm taking a trailer to this as their are 5 of us big fat fookers and it woulnt be too comfortable in the scubbay. However I will happily transport anyone who breaks something home if mines still driving. Its a long tow and its nice to have a back up.

boats booked today for me, micheal, waz. 10.30 saturday, 23.59 monday. what about 200+ and BEW. you not got any cars ready for this :(

im on the same boats as you neil, who all is going with you lot? Ive got cairnsy and neil(brother) with me.

Saturday morning out and Sunday night home for us,we'll maybe get a wee shandy or two sorted for Saturday night. ;) Haven't the foggiest where we're staying but I'll know when I get there.

Just and only just ready tonight. Didnt get the turbo I would have liked so a little short on horses, plenty of torque though so maybe the handling course will be best for scubbay :wonder:
