New short motor

Just wondering if it would be fine to drive on the motor way doing approx 60 miles there and 60 back, engine has done 90 miles at the mo, if so how should it be done or is it better off keeping it to normal city roads keep revs going up and down below 4k? thanks

no problem at all.. just don't hold it at the same speed all the way.. just every so often slow down slightly or speed up etc..

Use the gearbox and do some in 3rd, 4th, 5th gear, speeding up and slowing down as needs be, so the revs vary as Simon said, keeping below the set running in point ( 3000 - 3500 rpm I guess ) and OFF BOOST!

Speed is irrelevant during running in, it's revs and load that count.
