Sorry to be vague, I think the minimum is either 16'6 or 17 feet.

All bridges without height signs on them are over 16ft 6in. Anything under this height will have a sign.

From Nottinghamshire County Council.

Standard height clearance over the highway is 5.03m (16'6"). Bridges with highway clearance below this height have signs attached warning road users of the safe clearance. There is no statutory limit governing the overall height of a load on the highway but wherever possible it should not exceed 4.93m (16'3") in order to make maximum use of the main road network.

my dad wanted to know as he is a hgv driver and needed to double check.

HGV drivers should know that, 1st rule. 2nd rule know the height of the cab and trailer

Im fine @ hospital every 2 months for check ups, to make sure nothing comes back. Must be getting near for having some more scans. Fingers crossed and touching wood, and never too far away from a few prayers. Sad to see 22b going mate
