FAO Rich

what do you think of these products for sorting outa stone chip on my front bumper. I am worried about using 2000 grade W/D as I dont want to rub through the clearcoat and reall make things worse

http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8376

for the protruding paint from the chip

or this even though the paint is now days old so will be quite hard

Any advice would be appreciated.

By the way the waffle weave towel does what is says on the tin after a brief wash with a little detergent as you suggested and the Poorboys products are spot on:D

Hmm, don't like the look of them - I'd stick with the W/D, but use 3000 grit. I'm doing a P1 in two weeks time that has four gouges in the doors that need filling and wetsanding, before a good blast with the PC. Problem is, unless you have a PC I wouldn't even consider wetsanding, as you'll never get even 3000 marks out working by hand. No one near you on detailing world with a PC who could help out? Wetsanding is the way to go in my opinion!

PS - glad to hear the towel is back to best. As I said, sometimes they don't rinse them properly at the end of the production line, and this leaves them water repellent until first washed. :)
