what do you think of these products for sorting outa stone chip on my front bumper. I am worried about using 2000 grade W/D as I dont want to rub through the clearcoat and reall make things worse
http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8376 for the protruding paint from the chip or this even though the paint is now days old so will be quite hard http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8221 Any advice would be appreciated. By the way the waffle weave towel does what is says on the tin after a brief wash with a little detergent as you suggested and the Poorboys products are spot on:D |
Hmm, don't like the look of them - I'd stick with the W/D, but use 3000 grit. I'm doing a P1 in two weeks time that has four gouges in the doors that need filling and wetsanding, before a good blast with the PC. Problem is, unless you have a PC I wouldn't even consider wetsanding, as you'll never get even 3000 marks out working by hand. No one near you on detailing world with a PC who could help out? Wetsanding is the way to go in my opinion!
PS - glad to hear the towel is back to best. As I said, sometimes they don't rinse them properly at the end of the production line, and this leaves them water repellent until first washed. :) |
thanks for the input Rich, appreciate it
