MY 95 RA has had the blanking plates from the bonnet vents removed (did it have blanking plates originally?) Anyone know where I can get some ? I'm not to keen on water getting all over the battery. OR can someone suggest an alternative wherby I can keep th vents open ?

I have the drivers side only removed, so that the water does not go near the battery, so far in 2 years no problem.

You could make your own out of thin ally sheet, they have a dip in them for the water to collect in 1 corner, in the dip is a small drain hole, looks simple enough to make.

Else advertise in the wanted section, os speak to stuart knight, he has fabricated scoops for the grill areas, I was going to get a set, but my insurance copmany at the time were not impressed.

Markus of the black beast has a set of stuart knights scoops if you want a second opion on them.

Cheers

Stuart.

Thanks,
I think I'll go for a blanking plate over the battery option

Mine hasn't got any blanking either (MY97) I did a post in the wanted section ages ago and didn't get a response :(

If anyone has some going spare because of fitting those little scoops or something. Please let me know :)

Matt
