Write protected USB pen??
 

As above - had a USB pen for a while now, came to use it and a message is displayed saying the disk is write protected????? I cannot save or take files from the pen?????

PS - there is no little switch to enable/disable write protection.

Has anybody got any ideas, or is it FUBAR'd!!??

Not entirely uncommon in flash drives. I'm guessing you can't format it either?
If there's a warranty remaining on it, take it back.

If not, use this as a good excuse to upgrade to a U3 pen ;)
