Paul Stabler Tuning in Darlington fit clutches for £150.
Give Paul a ring on 01325 358484.
Complete range of other services from an oil change to major tuning or repair work, MOT testing, while-u-wait etc.

StickyMicky 21 March 2006 09:17 AM

is the clutch that far gone that you cant drive the car at a slow pace?

if so you will probably need a flywheel skim as well

good luck mate

scoobie-shieldy 21 March 2006 06:50 PM

cheers evo, tbh if it wasnt the scooby id do it myself lolz

EVOLUTION 21 March 2006 07:00 PM

seems like a big job from what i remember seeing of my engine bay the other month when they had my car in bits

ideally it looks like you need the car up a hight

StickyMicky 21 March 2006 07:15 PM

i was going to do my own, and TBH after the seeing paul stabler do mine, i stood underneath the car and thought "no chance"

i had planned to do mine on axle stands outside my parents house

i will tackle most jobs, the ones i am unsure about i normally watch somebody else the first time and then do it myself the second

TBH i could not be arsed to do a clutch swap on an impreza after helping paul wrestle my box off the engine.

i remember the days of my nova driving and you do one in 30 mins with a few little clips :D

harvey 21 March 2006 09:32 PM

By prior arrangement you can take the car in first thing in the morning and drive away at lunchtime. It is certainly same day nine times out of ten and represents value for money at £150.

stockcar 21 March 2006 11:09 PM

if your the chap i spoke to yesterday i gave you a price 'all in' which meant that fitting wasn't much different to the price above without driving all the way to darlington and we always do
same day..............................

not sure what i missed??
