'Cor' is the Romany term for stealing. To go choring vehicles is in their vocabulary.

Maybe they were offering to lift it for you?

As above: I don't know under what circumstances you heard this but if you were trying to barter with someone & offered them less than they were willing to accept they could say 'are you trying to cor us?' i.e. are you trying to rob me.
