I think that there was a study that resulted in the suggestion that Verdana was the font most easily read.

For me, it's usually Arial, or Verdana.

Verdana i like...

Anything finer.

cheers.

Arial is kinda the pc equivalent of Helvetica so, I think the correct list in Dreamweaver is Arial, Helvetica, Sans Serif, Verdana.

Anything is better than Times New Roman :nono:

Verdana was created for web text.

Remember that any font you use has to be installed on the users PC so always use common ones.

Most pc's have Verdana dont they?

Dreamweaver, what are your most commonly used fonts in web design?

tahoma was recommended to us as a clean easy to read font, we needed it for accessability reasons.

Verdana is good too, characters are slighlty wider, i find it harder to read than tahoma personally.

Thanks,Tahoma is a nice thin font.

On the subject of websites can anyone recommend any really good ones for graphics, layout, anything that impresses you.

I tend to stick to Arial and Verdana as all PC's have those fonts, not all have Tahoma though, but as long as you get the CSS font order right then you can include Tahoma.

Just make sure it looks good in the second choice as well, so you could have Tahoma, Verdana, Arial and the users system would select them in that order.
