White 205 Mi16

Hi

Am getting a new car so am selling my white mi - it's a sad day. I've owned this car for about 16 months and I've LOVED this car to bits, it's so much fun and never fails to put a smile on your face.

For those that don't know the mi16 is a popular conversion to a 205 gti to bring it up to todays hot hatch performance standards. Engine is 160bhp, weight is around 900kg and 0-60 is around the 6.5sec mark (unofficial). But 0-60 isn't what this car is about, it's a real thrill to drive especially with the shorter ratio mi16 box.

Anyway, details are as follows:

1991 H reg White 205 Mi16
  • 147k Miles
  • 3 months MOT (7th June)
  • 4 months Tax (30th June
  • Mi16 engine fitted using correct wiring loom and at correct angle using a QEP supplied re-angling manifold plate.
  • Mi16 Gearbox
  • Original Factory fitted remote central locking with keyfob
  • Electric Windows
  • Sunroof
  • Half leather interior
  • Refurbed white speedlines
  • Refurbed rear beam
  • New ATE Powerdiscs and Mintex 1144 pads
  • Toyo Proxy T1R's all round
  • It is lowered about 30mm with Eibach Springs with Koni Shocks - suspension is fairly stiff and you do feel the bumps on uneven surfaces, but it's never really bothered me.
The engine was fitted a few months ago but I've hardly driven this car since, but the engine I bought was said to have had a rebuild but have no proof of this other than some writing on the rocker cover.

Any work that's needed doing has always been done regardless of cost. I'm also member of the 205GtiDrivers forum under s33gav.

Bodywork isn't mint and there are a few ittle dings here and there (worst ding being a dent on rear corner) and a little bit of rust on the bottom of the n/s door. Half leather interior is in ok condition too.

Price is £1700
