It means you should have kept your classic RA!! ;) :lol1:

Synch on the new RA means that it IS updating, to get this to happen you just click on the sync tab. Don't know about the RA nav though- is it not in the instruction book?

Are the USB drivers for the device instaled properly?

Check out add/remove programs in the control panel and look for the device there. Did you get an installation disk/cd with the device?

Once when I went to see an airshow ,my Tomtom 3 satnav p!ssed me about like fcuk! It took me round longer ways n all and on the way back on a flipping long dual carriageway,it kept bleeting- Turn around as soon as possible:cuckoo:Now,there was about 3 cop cars is front of us.How could we?- even if we wanted to?
Satnavs can be pain in backside.I always read the map and don't trust the thing so much.

My Navman 635 told me to take a road over a hill in the Lake district which had a sign on it saying not suitable for motor vehicles!

Also took me through a farm yard with closed gates both sides! and after this i learnt to stop at closed gates and look on a proper map to see if it was a public road :)

In London TFL changes roads so often that i frequently dont use it because it is so out of date it leads me on short cuts which TFL have blocked with barriers or tries to take me the wrong way down one way streets and keeps telling me to do U Turns when i try and go round!

I have had the unit from brand new for 14 months so i blame Navman for poor maps.

I caertainly wouldnt buy another one with the same maping software.
