PS2 knackered after
Well 5 years after purchase, my PS2 has given up on me.
Tried re-calibrating the lens to no avail. I can hear the DVD drive lens pulsing as it continuously tries to read the disc. My fault I think as I left it all night running Black unattended which seems to have knackered the drive? Question: If I buy a slimline PS2, how easy is it to get the thing to play my legitimate backups ? Isn't there apparently a device that requires no soldering which permits this ? Is it easy to fit ? |
should have been OK overnight - I left mine one for nearly 4 days doing GT4's 24hr endurance races...

I've noticed it plays my originals but won't play any of my backed up stuff (when it previously did)

Perhaps your back ups are corrupt, make more from your originals.

PMSL :D

could it be the current means of playing your legitimate backups is faulty or turned off?

Sounds to me like your chip is burnt out :)

Thanks to some kind Scoobynet user, I've discovered a lovely hard disk / network card alternative. May give this a go. |
