Dump valves

Ive got a blitz supersound dump valve fitted at da mo and have had an hks ssqv or watever it is fitted before to but was just wondering is there a louder dump valve to be had?

Why??

scoobyboy1 06 March 2006 06:04 PM

Not really into my dump valves but have seen cars with 2 dump valves on., Im sure it would be loud enough with 2 of them going off.:wonder:

well this is my firrst post, and its to inform you that your probably about to get slated! but anyway how loud your dump valve is will be related to how much boost you are running, an 2 dump valves is because of two turbos?

Oh yes, 2 dump valves!

Just fitted 2 dump valves to the 5 turbo trackcar, BB Tuning sell the pipes so that 2 dump valves can be fitted for when running high boost.

I know it isnt a Scooby, but anything is possible, and if he wanted 2 dump valves im sure it could be done.

Now where was I ,yes thats it " I aint into my dump valves" unless it is needed, and the 5 turbo needed it(honest).:)

No need for a flame suit.:nono:

The Hard pipe kit came with 2 dump valve outlets as it was bought 2nd hand, so just thought why not run 2 dump valves as it had the space for them. It was more down to a visual look under the bonnet then actaully doing anything.:Suspiciou

"..... this one goes up to eleven....."

Two dump valves = more instantaneous boost dumping capability. Same as why you get better flow with four normal valves in cylinder rather than two oversize ones.

Of course, on a Scoob, double dump valves will simply cause bigger air metering problems than usual, but that's up to each individual what they choose to do.
