Typical BBC, treating this terrorist as a hero now as hes been released from Guantanamo  Clearly people leaving the questions dont see him that way - be sure to recommand 'suitable' questions for the b@stard! :) |
Some quality questions being asked on there!!! :D
Heres a couple of questions for you Do you intend to go back to live in Afgahistan? If not? why not? Do you intend to renounce your UK citizenship? If not? why not? Are you getting paid for this? Are you bieng supported financially by any Muslim groups? Are you claiming benefits? Did you claim them whilst in Afgahistan? Are you sueing the American or british government for your detention? If so who is paying for that? Thanks OM, UK |
Y-Fronts or Boxers?
|
Is Bin Laden related to Dusty and where are they both?
|
Excellent. 3 years in legal limbo based on less evidence than the 45-minute claim, the combined might of US military intelligence (?!) couldn't find anything to charge him with in that period of time, neither could the UK - but of course, SN knows so much more.

He attended training camps. would you want him babysitting your kids ??? Kick him out the fcukin country
|
I even had some cheeky mare in the high street from amnesty international trying to get me to donate so they could provide money for those stuck in Guantanemo. That made an interesting argument !

Pete, I'll come back and honestly admit that I typed that before reading the article - I'd never heard of that before, and if he admits it then he can certainly drop the "poor innocent" persona. What gets me is why he hasn't been charged with anything, in that case? (though I'm struggling to think of what - membership of a banned organisation?)

Its interesting to see the TOTALLY opposing views expressed on the BBC 'have your say'. People with western names are asking why the hell is he in this country if he hates it so much, and he derseves to be locked up, and people with arabic names are coming out with stuff like; What was the mood like in the camp of our fellows brothers? What is the condition of many innocent men who have done nothing wrong. Are you actively doing anything for the brothers in Cuba? Have you been censored in anyway by the US? Mushtaq, Clapton Dear Moazzem Begg, First of all i'm extremally sorry for what you had to go through, and hope you and your family are given the strength from Allah to move on. I would really like to know what it was like in cuba for you and also what can I do to help the other prisoners in cuba. Regards Sairah sairah, derby |

Under the Geneva conventions, and International Law, the Americans had the right to shoot or hang you following a Field General Court Martial, or (under exceptional circumstances) on the single order of any commissioned officer. You had no rights whatever; yet the U.S.A. treated you as a prisoner. Please explain why you are complaining? You are alive when you should be dead. Dr J. Mahood, Latheron and Simply being at the training camps means that you were in close contact with people prepared to kill coalition forces, including British soldiers. Would you be prepared to name them, or pick them out in an ID parade? Or could you not possibly betray your muslim brothers? Inderpal Grewal, Hounslow and You say you went to Afghanistan to train in its camps, but would not have fought against the UK. After what happened in Iraq, and had you not been caught, would you then have used your "specialised" on the people living in the UK? Raj, London |

Similarly, membership of a terrorist organisation - did he have a card? Probably not, could have been a guest attendee (!). So that wouldn't really stick either. As for Paul's quote above about the laws of war and the Geneva Conventions, I'm really peeved that I lent all my coursework on that to a fellow student and never got it back  |
to be fair.....if they still play that horse game with the pig skin from Rambo 3 i'm not surprised he went to train there.....it looked like a lot of fun :D
