Whats next?
 

I own a WRX bugeye. Currently have decat up and downpipe, Ninja BB, K&N panel filter and a Ecutek remap. Whats the next thing to do for more power apart from losing the centre cat and what sort of money would I need to spend?

I'm not too sure what i'm running. Apparently should be around 280 BHP but I need to take it on a rolling road. Probably looking to spend a grand. Would like An sti but i've just got myself a mortgage and i'm a first time buyer so can't go too mad cause the girlfriend would kill me. Think sofas are more important then speed!!!

Buy a 2nd hand sofa for £100 quid... then go nuts on the Scooby...

Take it you bought the car with these mods already on? If not, was the fuel pump upgraded aswell? If the fuel pump was not changed then that is your first job as the limits of the fuel pump will have probably been reached by now so anyother demand on the fuel system could cause problems.

£100 sounds nice. I'll find one down the tip:) . If i'm 26 and have only decided to move out now. Its too expensive don't do it!! No I had all the mods done myself. Will the fuel pum p help performance. People have said to get a walboro one. Is that right?

The standard fuel pump has it's limits. Uprating will prevent fuel shortage, that pump is a good one. When fitted was the ecu mapped to your car? or was it a generic mapping a bit like the PPP setup. If it is a generic mapping get the fuel pump changed and look into getting the ECU tweaked with the car on a rolling road. This might prove enough for you for now but eventually I am sure you will want more. Keep an eye on the forum and have a good read then decide what you are thinking of doing, then post another thread and see what comes back. Best of luck Steve

It was mapped to my car. I had some geezer sitting in the passenger seat with a lappy with a load of confusing figures on the screen. I will look into buying a fuel pump pretty soon then. cheers david

Check with who ever did the work to see if the fuel pump was changed, before you buy one. As it would be a waste of money if the pumps already been uprated.
