A big favor please
 

Hi all, I'm Phil and a newbie to this board.

Could I ask a huge favor? I'm looking into buying my first Impreza but I'm totaly confused with all the models avaliable. Originaly I looked to buy an older 96-98 WRX, but now I think I would possibly prefer a newer version (05 plate WRX etc) since my budget is now higher and insurance much cheaper thesedays.

Could some unbeliveably kind and amazingly helpfull person post pics of Scoobs going back to say 2000 reg or somthing, with a quick bit of info as to what the actual model is? i.e 2000 reg WRX Turbo.........2005 reg WRX STi etc. I know its a big favor but it would really help me out lol. I havent managed to find a good Impreza history with the pics+info online as yet.

If not then fair play, i can push to 15/16k but I dont know where to start looking for the best performance per pound!

PPP = prodrive performance package........Its an power upgrade, ECU, exhaust, fuel pump. It increases power on UK car. WRX get 262bhp and sti gets 305 bhp.
It is the only recognised upgrade which can be done to scoobs whilst retaining the full UK warranty.

To answer your other questions have a look in the gallery section loads of pics of cars in there.

Basically in the classic shape the UK cars were called UK2000's (207-220bhp) These had the lowest bhp in the turbo range. The wrx's and STi's were all imports and had up to 280bhp as standard.
The P1, RB5 were limited run UK cars with additional power.

I "think" I like the look of the 05 WRX and STi, above the others. I have just found a pretty good webpage with some usefull info too.
