v5/6 sti top mount wanted
 

on the look out for a version 5/6 sti top mount intercooler,not after the later types as not needed for the output i have in mind and these are a straight swap with my current one,at least very good condition needed,and complete with y piece and hose's...any one gone bigger and have one lying about the place?

I have one with bailey dump valve, bought for my 1997 wrx but dont fit.

Aren't the v5 sti intercooler's the same as standard uk's (MY99-00).
I enquired when I was looking to upgrade but got told they are the same :wonder:

Thats what I thought as well. The only difference is the colour & the alloy Y piece. Unless the core is different. Mind you I could be wrong.

core is different inside........ might be going towards a newage wrx oe though as im led to believe these will flow better than sti5/6

If you can wait till the second week in may, you can have mine off my ver.6 sti due to a fmic going on. Send me a pm if you're interested.
